The Wesley Community is seeking a Controller! Currently hiring for a Full Time position working Monday-Friday.

As a Controller, supporting the mission of Wesley Community will include the following responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Director of Finance in the planning, development, organization, implementation, evaluation, and direction of the Facility's fiscal functions and budgetary process including day-to-day operations and capital requests. 
  • Developing and maintaining written policies and procedures that govern the accounting functions of the Facility.
  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements and budgets (as necessary) and providing such information to the Director of Finance, Chief Executive Officer, Administrator and Board of Directors as requested.
  • Preparing or supervising preparation of all Federal, State, and facility reports and financial statements as required. (RHCF-IV, 2540-10, 990's)
  • Preparing, with the assistance of the Staff Accountant, monthly reconciliations on a timely basis.
  • Serving as a primary contact for corporate audits.  Duties include, but are not limited to, preparation of audit files, scheduling audit dates, assisting auditors as needed in their completion of the annual audit.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred.
  • Experience in Accounting/Finance Department of a nursing home is preferred.
  • CPA license preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and/or MyUnity (HealthMedX andVision, our EMR program) software preferred.
  • Prior experience with financial statements and reporting preferred.
