The Wesley Community is seeking a Resident Occupancy Unit Clerk! Currently hiring for a Part Time position working Monday-Friday from 9 am- 1 pm.

WHAT WILL I DO?

As a Resident Occupancy Unit Clerk, supporting the mission of Wesley Community will include the following responsibilities:

  • Assisting with settling in/packing residents for moves internally or externally.
  • Assisting the Charge and Staff Nurses in their day-to-day recording and charting of medical or administrative information in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern medical records.
  • Answer the telephone, page calls; deliver messages to residents, and nursing staff as necessary.
  • Ensuring that medical records are maintained in an informative and descriptive manner.

WHAT IS REQUIRED OF ME FOR THIS ROLE?

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Associate's degree/related coursework preferred.
  • Must have experience and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Previous work experience in a health care facility is preferred.
  • Experience with EMR Program Vision preferred.
  • A basic knowledge of medical terminology and nursing practices is preferred.
